I've always been astounded by communication, especially written words. I wanted to work with them, learn as much as I could, and read as much as I could. This passion followed me through my education and I studied American Studies at Ankara University. Through my education, I've inhaled as much information as I could. I learned how to read issues, and how to see beyond the words and got more fascinated with it. I enjoyed academic writing and worked as an academic proofreader for a while in my rather close circle. 

I was stoked with the opportunity at Lazzoni due to these reasons. I worked as an SEO copywriter which I enjoyed deeply and I continued working on after my leave from there. Later on, I had the chance to improve my skills and help my clients through my freelance and on-site experiences. My writing career took off during my time at Lazzoni, where I worked as a Copywriter and Language Specialist. It was here that I first began shaping content strategies for both internal and external communication channels. My responsibilities spanned a wide range of tasks, from developing editorial content for newsletters and websites to crafting engaging stories that resonated with Lazzoni's brand vision. This role allowed me to combine creativity with a focus on results, leading SEO initiatives that improved web traffic and engagement. It was the perfect introduction to professional writing, as I not only honed my skills but also developed an understanding of the critical intersection between content and business objectives.

One of the most significant influences on my writing style has been my academic background. Having studied American Culture and Literature at Ankara University and later pursuing a Master’s in Linguistics at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, I was deeply immersed in the world of storytelling, language, and literary analysis. These studies provided me with a strong foundation in understanding both the creative and technical aspects of writing. My academic experiences, combined with my professional work, have given me a unique approach to crafting content, where I can seamlessly blend artistic expression with the precision needed for technical accuracy or brand messaging.

Beyond my time at Lazzoni, I’ve expanded my freelance portfolio, taking on projects that include translation, SEO management, and content creation across various industries. My work as a translator for film and television, for instance, allowed me to balance creative adaptation with cultural nuances, ensuring that the final product was accessible to global audiences. I’ve also contributed to larger projects like translating Sam Shepard’s "Great Dream of Heaven" into Turkish, where my literary background played a crucial role in maintaining the author’s tone and voice while making the content relatable to Turkish readers. Each project has enriched my writing capabilities, giving me a broader perspective on different writing styles and target audiences.

Throughout my career, writing has remained at the core of everything I do. Whether it’s crafting compelling narratives for a gamified travel app or developing content strategies that enhance user engagement, my work has always been driven by a passion for storytelling. My diverse experiences in content creation, SEO, and localization have equipped me with the tools to approach writing from multiple angles, always with the goal of delivering content that resonates with audiences while meeting the strategic needs of businesses.
